27 September 2022
The iPhone 14 was redesigned to make it easier to repair, but that sentiment wasn't carried over to the rugged and expensive Watch Ultra.

Anonymous, 27 Sep 2022Not a surprise. Apple hasn't released even one product... moreWhat about the Apple I

Rosso, 28 Sep 2022I held multiple Apple phones, they feel great and premium n... moreI was SHOCKED when I felt the not-so-premium glass back on my 11T pro. Even the much cheaper older Note 8 Pro and Note 10 Lite felt better.
Then I got S22, and boy oh boy did that feel like a an empty thin aluminum can! Suddenly my premium Xiaomi makes a lot of sense, despite being older and cheaper.

Give me a moment to pretend I am surprised

They like to look like good guys without putting in actual effort to be like that

cyber, 27 Sep 2022removable back cover worth nothing and battery replaceable ... moreThat is indeed incredibly bizarre and stupid design decision. Whats even the point of the back cover with screws then? This was either done intentionally or someone's really terrible at internals design. If all of it was accessible from the back it would be repairable just like any regular wrist watch which also get opened from the back (with rare exceptions like Citizen Royal Marine Commando which has a solid titanium case with no back to open, but that one runs Citizen's EcoDrive solar movement which lasts for decades). It's weird.

you have to suffer, 27 Sep 2022to make matters worse, they use plastic with chrome finish ... moreThe case is not painted plastic you clueless joke, it's bead blasted or sand blasted titanium which gives it satin look and feel. You'd know that if you'd actually ever held titanium in your butterfinger hands. Then again I expected such lack of knowledge from someone who just whines about Apple in literally every single article about it.

You spend e-waste to repair your e-waste.. in the end.. everything goes into the landfill.

Just give your iDevices back to Apple, they recycle it to make new iDevices.

Well.. if its design to be durable, and used by hardcore athletes.

Why do not even need to repair it?

Difficult to repair? Maybe they should try taking apart a Swiss mechanical watch and rating that

Very little can be repaired these days. It's more efficient for companies to change broken to new.
