Problem lies within support from soc manufacturers (Qualcomm) then the device manufacturers themselves. When they don't longer support it, join the community and provide longer unofficial support it. OnePlus 1 until 3t or pixel to pixel 2 are quite examplary, they both have unofficial support to last longer than 5 years.

I wait until 2025 for s25 ultra. I keep my s21 ultra and I'm in no hurry or anything to upgrade, I sit and wait plus read latest reviews b4 I decide. You know 12 months run so fast like 5 mins

Galaxy S / S+ are decoy products ever since Samsung dropped the screen res to HD+.
They're just here to push you towards the Ultra. One might even argue next year's Ultra is shaping up to be just here to push you towards the Fold.
Really the worst time ever in this industry to purchase an High-end slab.

About One UI, you can disagree, but the beauty of One UI (as best Android UI) were already confirmed by most reviewer and youtuber.

S23 back design looks lik... moreIt is the same reasons why Adidas dont remove the three stripes /lines on its cloths and shoes.
Three vertical camera lens and middle punch hole becomes the cores of Samsung identity. From my point of views, only Samsung and Apple have found their own design language. These days everyone knows which one is Samsung/iPhone without seeing its logos.
