The only thing holding samsung back is battery life. If they can sort this issue out nothing can touch them. Galaxy S is the perfect all round smartphone that does everything.

hmm, 28 Sep 2022If we are talking about 0.3mm taller and 0.2mm wider for S2... moreI have the feeling that the edges a rounder compared with S22. Which for me would be better, more comfortable to hold.
But hard to confirm based on these renders.

The reason for removing the camera island is economic and for two reasons: 1 Apparently, the lack of a protective layer for the cameras causes more repairs due to breakages and thus increased profits for Samsung (something that was discovered in the Galaxy S22 Ultra, apparently). 2. Less material equals less money for assembly materials and more money for Samsung in its pocket.

Samsung has lots its mind. The camera island was the best design element of the S21/22 line. Without it these phones look like midrangers.

I don't think this looks terrible, but honestly it would've been better if they just kept the camera island of the S21/22.
I do get that they're trying to make the designs of all their phones as consistent as possible, but at some point you'll have to compare this with the looks of the lower-end A series phones (A32, A13, etc) and begin to think they should probably try to differentiate the designs of their phones just a little bit more so that they don't look alike at first.
...then again if they did keep the camera bump then the comments would still be full of mad people... the typical GSMA experience.

Ugly design and prone to scratches.. Samsung is doing reverse work in the past few years.

Less is more. I do like the fact that they simplified (or at least tried to) the design. I would like it even more if they would manage to create phones with cameras that sits flush with the back. And again, having a shitload of cameras is useless. When you look at decent digital cameras, they all have only one lens and manage to do everything with it. Agreed, the professional stuff has the possibility to swap lenses according to the needs but then again it's aimed at a different crowd that I don't see using a smartphone to do the same stuff as they would do with proper material. In short, you can do all with only one if that one has the best possible software to produce the best possible pics.

iphone13pro and iphone14pro have stellar battery life with 30-40% remaining in midnight.their only competitor s23 must have at least 30% more battery life compared to s22. s23 must also bump the camera performance since,s22 output was no different from s21.just use s23ultra's cameras without the 10x.

Obviously Samsung doesn't want to make the S line attractive so people will buy their expensive folding phones...Bad thinking, they buy chinese phones half the Samung prices.

uglyoneUI, 28 Sep 2022OneUI sucks in terms of design compared to other android sk... moreYeah those "other android skins". Those other skins must be so bad and not popular, so it doesnt even worth to mention its name, right? At least you know the name of popular One UI.
Just reminder, there is only One UI and those random skins, not worth mentioning its name.

Samsung user, 28 Sep 2022Once chinese brand is always chinese brand. I am not saying... moreThat part is true, in some ways. But you compared entry level Samsung phones to sub-flagship Xiaomi which cannot have more value, regardless the brand's name.

But really, it has far lower value compared to Samsung brand. The only brand comparable to Samsung is Apple. Xiaomi is just like 3rd lower Tier brands, maybe?
