another yearly S boring phone.
S23 back design looks like A13 back design,, such lazy choice.
the last time Samsung being creative was S10 series,, now they just S Boring.
i think at this point, Samsung use S series as Decoy Product to artificially increase Flip and Fold value.

I know Galaxy A series are far away from 12 Lite in terms of hardware/build quality (speaking from my own experience). S23 is ugly to me, my personal preference (if this is a true leak). S22 looks way better, now i don't care if you like it or not but going to my comments and seeing which phone i have + saying that plastic phones which aren't even made properly with bad vibration motors and with crap exynos chipset feel/is better is quite funny.
Also, if you don't have experience with 12 Lite, why are you even bothered? Literally no one mentioned that device, even in the comments. To show how serious you are, you compared $100 entry level Samsung A devices, chill.

The S22 series had a charming, characteristic design, this one's a bit too flat. Also, 157.7 v. 157.4 and 146.3 v. 146 mm is literally impractical to compare in real life.

If we are talking about 0.3mm taller and 0.2mm wider for S23 over S22 then that is nothing your eye even notice the difference in size.
The 3 cams on the rear as a new design wont make it better then the S22 had as now it's 3 bumps that is worse the full island on the corner.
It is nice that they have at least one compact in modern standards but be nicer if they would return A4x series back to compact too so there be at least one in budget series too around 200-300 euro range. And maybe something A6x series be also but with something in middle class around 300-400 euro.
It just sux that all compact size phones are only flagship phones and S series should show that there is market for compact phones. A40 was nice size and even A41 was still ok but then with A42 it went like the rest of the trash in the market with 6.6 inch plus

LG is the only most innovative company with brilliant ideas but poor software development. Look at the G series. Samsung and Apple design is too outdated and copying the others but good software.

S22 and S23 with 6.1" is perfect size.. great job Samsung..
Look at pixel 6a.. its same size but very bulky rather than compact design.

I like the simplified camera lens look. Extremely clean. But the camera contour design of the S21 series still remains my favourite

Many other brands inspired to have similar pill/punch hole screen (ex:Apple and other Android brands) and/or those signature triple vertical camera lens (ex: motorola)

I still prefer the Note 9/10+ form factor and the fact that they were slimmer! 🌞 (And the feeling in hands with no case is better with Note10+ than S22u)
