Samsung is practically evil in thinking outputting mushy mess passes as an alternative, which is what led them to divide a type 1/1.2 into 108M individual photosites behind 12M CFA in the first place. It makes effective raw data extraction a nightmare(12MP mode is less effective than it can be due to stacking difficulty) while 108MP mode was never viable due to...well the whole pipeline is one giant bottleneck.

...WTH? S35 is not APS-C, they can be close but reality is S35 in digital is generally 16:9, making it much smaller than APS-C, why not give the actual dimensions instead of causing confusion?!

No camera phone will ever beat a mirrorless or DSLR camera, no matter how samll the sensor on that camera will be or how many megapixels it has, it will still be 10x better than the best camera smartphone on the market. Sorry if I spoke too much about this subject :) Im an actual photographer and I don't really get to speak too much with people on this topic

Back to this camera, it's too expensive for a body with a crop sensor but it offers a broad lens support.
