The rest Jst wanna talk about why Samsung isn't changing the design every single year like they used to
Samsung used to be more worried or concern about changing the design of the phone every single year that makes them to neglect what the phone can actually do now or after 4 - 5 years from now
If they decide to drop the trend of design change and new hardware every year it might be for the best
Imagine having an s22u that
1. Doesn't get Hot 🔥
2. With better soc
3. With better camera sensors
4. More optimized (smoth as butter)
5. More battery efficient
I believe everyone talking about design change here wouldn't mind getting high performance
Take what happened to apple as an example of what has been happening to Samsung for decades, changing design & bringing in new hardware is just a way of making the device to get issues from the the day of lunch and would likely need updates to work a bit better

To be honest, I don't like this design. The Note 20 Ultra, S22 Ultra design. I think the S21 Ultra looks better.

Don't forget that most people would get exynos, and traitor scamsung will still not switch to 1" sensor and not bring back headphone jack and microsd card, giving apple upper hand against android, while it scams google with its rebranded exynos that didn't meet their own lowly standards.

Eh, I don't see much to complain (other than increased price). I thought the S22's minimalist design looked great, so I'm perfectly fine with them keeping this design. And I like that it's ever so slightly boxier. Maybe new color options would be great tho. If it ain't broke, don't fix it I guess?

Good news for me as fold 4 owner, it seems like they change the design every other year. Fold 3 and 4 looks nearly identical, so the next one will look different, hopefully as wide and slim as mix fold 2

Iphones are so expensive that too many ppl even accept to buy brand new unit of old models (Xs, 11, 12 series) to save some money.
Who would in late 2022 buy brand new S20 for $490?
Also, Galaxy S does not sell as much as iphones, samsung would never sell devices enough to keep suppliers making older components for longer than 1 year.

If Samsung wished to get more sales, why don't they just sell in 2023 the 2022 version at a cheaper price ? No new R&D and fabrication costs. Cheaper to build and cheaper to buy, win-win situation.
