        Anonymous, 10 Oct 2022mmwave is a gimmick you know murican thingMmwave isn't a gimmick, the problem with mmwave is that it is proprietariy. Only Verizon has the rights to use mmwave in the United States so it's very powerful, but also niche. The same problem Thunderbolt ports had with Intel until recently. Unfortunately for Thunderbolt, USB technology has surpassed it. The same will likely occur for mmwave.

          I really appreciate you guys for introducing me to that PBK channel for these disassembly posts. I got tired of JerryRigEverything being overly political in his videos, giving incorrect information about products, and he stopped being fun. This PBK channel guy is very straight to the point and is very knowledgeable.

                    (An interesting thing to note is that there is a placeholder for a mmWave antenna. This type of 5G is not widely available, so only phones sold in select markets have an antenna installed.)


                    At this point it is more than obvious that we are going to continue with the same problem that where they are not sold, you will not have 5G but what is Google thinking? this is how they want to compete with apple?
