YouTube introducing unique channel handles

It's going to be easier to find channels and tag them.

FatShady, 13 Oct 2022been doing it for years and does less than nothing, its use... moreIt will be possibly be overridden if you still look them up or have liked any of their content. Not sure. It also is based on watched content so clear them out of your watch list and it may also help. Should be unnecessary, but it may still need to be done.

I use autoplay and there was a lot of crap content, in my view, that got recommende before I got to personalize it. With me it works fine. Got rid of pewdiepie and casey niestat, or whatever their names are, by doing just that.

        Youtube is better than Instagram.At least they dont delete accounts easily and they allow handles in better way than Instagram.Instagram should fix their app and they should fix their bugs about filter detecting comments it is way too strict and they shouldnt delete account for no reason.I deadvertise Instagram to anyone,i recommend only Youtube,Twitter,Tiktok.Word life.

          lol.. I've had a top-level user name for over 10 years there (like youtube.com/channelname/) This is not new.

                This is about companies wanting to advertise on Youtube but normal people already making accounts using the names. Instead of taking away the names of those users, they're using this to circumvent usernames. This doesn't help users in any way. It's always about advertisers.

                          like fix the recommendations, i don't want to watch a single video from a channel and to see them getting recommended to me over and over again for months, it was just a one video and nothing more.
                          also, add a blocking method so i don't see channels that i despise.
                          and most importantly, get rid of the shitty shorts.
