Got the Pixel 7 in US on 10/13, tried to activate it on 10/14 on Verizon's "Total by Verizon" carrier.
No service, signal triangle is empty with exclamation mark. On Reddit, lots of complains from former TracFone carriers (now TracFone is owned by Verizon).
Nice roll-out Google!

Motorola 30 edge ultra is far better than Pixel when you put both to comparison.
Moto have faster charging and better batery, comes with more ram and disk space, comes with much better screen and camera and Snapdragon beats Google Tensor anytime of a day.
Based on this. People like you either dont see the differences because of eye disease symptoms or unable to swallow the fact some company is actualy way better than overpriced google.
Next to Samsung's flagship, the P7P sounds like a solid improvement over the P6P, which after a few updates offered probably the most solid Android experience of 2022, again next to Samsung.
Man Samsung is nothing but pure bloatware. They releases a lot of UI updates but mostly bug fixes. Bug fixes does not impress anyone.
Apple does that every a while and for raw apple fans even bug fixes are like xmas presents.
This is almost same.
If company were so great they will improve performance instead of bug fixes.
Comparing Samsung and pixel is good idea because i would grab pixel anytime a day over samsung just because of pure android experience and no bloatware inside.
Same goes for Motorola. But Motorola compared to Pixel offers at same price much better specs as i told above.
In every single aspect Motorola 30 edge ultra is best flagship grade device of 2022 along with Mi 12 Ultra and Honor magic 4 Ultimate those 3 offers best and most specs compared to pricing and no 5 major OS updates or simmilar crap will change fact those 3 said phones are a lot better.
Reason is very simple most people swaps their phones every 2-3 year. Noone wants to nd with a 6-7 years old still working device with latest android but unable to run most apps because of old internals.
Just to remind you. 7 years ago phones had 1-2 up to 3GB ram and was like enough.
From now inward phones of 2030 will have 12GB ram even the most basic ones just to run basic apps which will at that time and era improve too. I dont need to mention complex games like forge of empires or Clash of Lords which are no longger the same game which was at time they were unveiled for paying which was 2014.
Because a same device which was able to run those games without any hussle at that time and era wouldnt run same game now because those games improved in every single aspect and when a phone with 1-2GB ram was sufficient to play those games nowdays wouldnt e able to run them smoothly or at all.
End of story.
So google 7 pro despite sounds like a good device will end as an old crap but with ltest stable android version after 5-7 years but unable to run anything apart the most basic apps.
End of story.

from the former Pixel 6 user, i totally hate this imbalance shape. the top part is so heavy compared to the camera quality you really got.

I wait for my it's come today in 3 hours, but take me 2 days to ordered, just check few times a day. Or in soon morning they maybe will there. I was ordered 4am there was all available 3 hours later no more 256GB and just white and black 128.

Mmmma, 13 Oct 2022Tbh for the price of Pixel 7 pro, I rather go the Samsung route I do dig getting updates quickly and timely, though just 3 major OS updates are a bit weak, but still, I'd give it a try to see if at least Pixel phones are maintained anywhere near as good as iPhones are by Apple. I also kinda like the Pixel's visor camera island, especially since phone won't wobble on a table. Performance seems fine, it's just weak with graphics, but I hardly ever play games so it would be fine. But I also really dig the new Galaxy S23 looks. Man, it's just 2-3 months till S23, I think I'll just wait for that and then see.

Well this is way too much for an overpriced midranger which looks like an unfinnished product.
At my store i can have Motorola edge 30 ultra from as low as 520 new one and used for half of that price. And thats a lot better device in every single aspect and compared to google looks very premium capable and like a finnished product and a top end ultrawesome flagship

Xiaomi 12x for example, similar price, better screen, speakers, probably battery life and is smaller too since some people enjoy that, only will really loose in max performance (and with how optimised 870 is I wouldn't be surprised if over longer period it's better) and cameras.
