There's much demand for Mini/Small phs as well.
An "A1 Mini" similar in size & weight to Redmi 6A would serve as a handy backup or secondary ph or for Students & the Elderly.

          Correction: two useless cameras

Releasing a version just for the sake of a FP scanner.
            Ridiculous.
Problems are going to be same for both the phones. SoC is same, software support (if Xiaomi provides) is same, screen size same.

Waste of resources. Rather Xiaomi should have spent this money for providing a better SoC and extended software support for the device.

Xiaomi would easily charge Europe something like €200

My father's 4 Yr old Redmi 6A is powered by Mediatek A22 and that is a potato device even with custom roms. What was Xiaomi thinking when designing this device?
