Apple tipped to announce new iPad Pro with M2 “in a matter of days”

If saving the money is not ... moreExactly, especially since Apple's SoC has become overkill in most ways that one would utilize an iOS tablet. I buy an M1, I don't do any video rendering (or actually, I still could do some decent rendering with M1), everything else(software) is gonna take 3-5 years to catch up, maybe even longer, a 1st gen iPP is still a decent drawing tool, arguably more so than the latest Surface because of Apple Pencil's superior accuracy and latency. It's also decent for video or reading because its speakers are not outdated, and the battery life is still impressive compared to many Windows devices. And a 1st gen iPP is probably dirt cheap right now, leaving it likely the best digitizer at the price.

          They need to update the iPad Mini to eliminate all trace of the wierd Jelly Roll while scrolling. Maybe join the rest of the world in putting 120hz screens on premium devices.

              Another day of Apple releasing (almost) the same thing but with a faster chip and some slight changes. Should've put a two-year gap for iPads like the MacBooks to build an anticipation and provide more upgrades Imo...

                                Does seem kind of weird that they might not be doing an October event this time, they've usually done them for announcements like these. If they end up just casually announcing Macs with M2 Pro/Max on their website as well, that would make it feel even more strange.

                                  M1 will be better choice, price will be reduced and it will run cooler than M2. In laptop M2 overheat i dont think in tablet it will perform better without significance throttling.

                                      They should give 11 inch ipad pro oled display, otherwise its like get ipad air for performance or get ipad 12.9 for display
