Will the Plus model follow in the Mini's footsteps?

Apple is short sighted here. The 14 Plus would sell better later in it's life cycle. The value of it is being a large display for less than the pro max devices.

The issue here being the i14 is just an i13, so the outrageous release price on the 14 plus offers nothing-- a i13 pro max is the same prize in many markets. Once they have i15's and the 14s drop in price they would sell plenty of i14 Plus's to consumers wanting a large display at a more affordable price than the pro series.

It's just like when they undercut the mini by releasing an SE model just a year before. Then overpricing it and releasing another shortly after. Apple tripping over it's own product lineup.

    Should have made iphones with USB-C and the iphone14 mini.

      Apple have had 3 models that have consistently sold well. Namely the iPhone, iPhone Pro and iPhone Pro Max. They should stick to those 3 models only.

                    Bring back the iPhone Mini. People don't need these giant phones.

                    Even if the Mini was selling poorly, "poorly" for Apple still means tens of millions of units. Surely Apple can afford to keep the Mini line going.

                              The price discouraged me as well, the price difference is so small I would rather buy the 14 Pro.
