From my point of view, most people would rather defend their purchase with burning passion (spitting and bleeding in the process, if necessary) rather than admin their purchase wasn't so great.
But then again, people who understand the drawbacks of wireless buds simply don't buy wireless buds.
So yeah, its funny. People who bought wireless buds will defend their purchase even if they understand at some level that it has some significant drawbacks (primarily short life, meaning, product life, and high price). People who understand the drawbacks and do not accept them, simply don't buy wireless buds.
As a result, you get a rosy picture "everyone who bought buds is perfectly happy with them".
Seems about right?
Similar thing is happening in Steam Store (PC game store). Some players love a niche game and leave glowing reviews (played 3 hours, it was fun, or some joke, or some meme). People, who are not completely into the niche, do not buy the game. As a result - the game has 98% positive reviews, tens or hundreds of thousands of positive reviews. Highly recommended. Someone who isn't into the niche so badly may find the game bad in many ways, but they're more likely to refund it rather than leave a negative review and keep playing. And so the game keeps glowing reviews. And the side effect is: most people would rather not leave a negative review. They don't want to go against the majority.
Verdict:
just because a few people think some product is good, doesn't mean it's good for everyone.

It just a dumb earbud without proper codecs (no aptx, no ldac, no lc3).

Those advertised earbuds are nothing but puppets and all web2 works the same.I would advise Audio Technica Ath cks5tw or cks50tw or other anc models

I don't understand the move at all. Hope there is a more compelling reason than just greed.
