It's actually a small trend among the lower-end/mid-range phones. For example the Oneplus Nord N20, Tecno Spark 9T, the Tecno Camon 19 series, etc.

GeeX, 20 Oct 2022price is too much for 60 hertz entry level SOC..Thank pixels and iPhones for this now. Since the pixel 6a was sold for 300+ with 60hz screen and iPhone 13/14 being sold for 800+ companies know they can get away with it now (probably see less telephoto cams aswell even at the 500-600 range).

Also the current champions ar just the ROG phones, it's been them since atleast the ROG 3. HTC were just good for having front facing stereo speakers, wouldn't say the best "quality" (maybe back in 2012 but not now)

I think I'd rather spend less on buying a "real" AXON !!!
A good clean "proper" AXON 7 (not the mini) costs about the same now,and is still a briliant phone,especially if you watch/listen to lots of media,still got a decent spec display and audio is even better than the later supposedly " boomsound" HTC's,cos they stopped using identical speaker pairs,AXON 7 has matched speakers and sounds marvelous,the early HTC's with boomsound and the AXON 7 are already seen as being the best sounding phones we will probably ever hear,same as high grade hi fi from the early/mid 1970s is considered the best audio hardware and sound quality yet,and often fetches remarkable prices
