Plastic = light & more scratch resistant. Sensible mobile device users (i.e. non trolls / fanboys) really only care about phone functionality. Faster = more future proof - device is reliably useful for longer term contacts. Tacky looks which age faster are immaterial. E.G. How long before the tab over the charger outlet on the Sony Xperia Z breaks after daily use? Congratulations - waterproof gimmick is gone.
U can bash Samsing all u like, but they won more awards than anyone else last year & last I checked their share price DIDN'T depreciate over 35% since september.
Jobs is doing somersaults on his grave as Cook captains the sinking ship. Kudos to BlackBerry,MS, Firefox & co for providing some well needed healthy competition to Android. I never thought I'd say this but I'm beginning to feel sorry for Apple & anyone unfortunate enough to invest in one of their devices.
