      i thought that there is GPU which is doing all the heavy load of 3D computations and, once it's done and the frame is computed, then it goes to sorta display output chip which just shows the frame on a screen. so i thought it is [GPU] + [display video output chip]. basically, all the heavy work is done by GPU and i think there is not much load "to offload" by implementing custom display output chip. obviously, this scheme of mine is wrong.

      could you please correct me? what is the correct scheme?

          Same concept as
          PixelWorks Iris chips in several oem display like Asus Rog series, Oppo Find X series, Blackshark 3.
          And other example like
          Google Pixel use Titan M chips to enhanced security,
          Xiaomi use Surge P1 to control 120w supercharge & battery temperature,
          Vivo and Oppo use V1+ and MariSilicone for image processing to override Snapdragon ISP.

                    I was actually looking forward to buying this phone but that camera setup put me off big time. The wide angle lens should've been at least 12 MP to make this an exciting offer.
