I mean one where from one side you put your SIM card and from other side SD card goes.
No matter the brand everybody have same problem.

Other areas like design, cameras and chipset are better than the 12 Lite, but I expect the 12 Lite NE will have a slightly higher price too.

The so called "dynamic Island" was already an unofficial idea of other brands. But they all refrained from adopting it as it was risky.
We all can imagine what the reaction would be if Xiaomi or any other brands implemented the "dynamic Island" before apple. Everybody would be like, "what a impractical idea!" or "Chinese are making the punch hole uglier."
Now it will be considered as "apple knows the best" as apple have done it and bragged about it first. You will not see any questions asked by mkbhd or mrwhoistheboss or dave2d. They will all obey and signal the apple people to behave the same way.
So, now Xiaomi or others can do this without any risk. And thus they will save great amount of $$ by not be very serious about underdisplay innovations.
Just imagine, what the the reaction would be from apple people if Xiaomi removed the headphone jack first or Samsung removed the charger first!!!!
This is the new reality. First, apple does a bad or impractical "innovation". Everybody behave like brain dead zombie buyers. So called tech tubers hypes the apple " innovation". Then the impractical is considered as "practical". Other brand take this opportunity as they too are here to do business, earn more. Next, apple people gets angry saying, " why Chinese brands are copying great apple innovation."
Sad but reality.

Does anyone know if the earpiece will act as a secondary speaker (for stereo sound)? I have seen pictures of the Civi 2, but it lacks a dedicated top speaker. However, some sources claim that it has Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.

Very, very interesting, if price is right this could be an incredible midranger, it's hardware, especially camera wise, is already really good, and screen doesn't seem at least on paper to be bad, if Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 is up to the task, and price is right, then this would be very nice.
Kinda sad I didn't wait bit longer, this might be better value then 12x I bought while delivering everything I need.

I think I'll replace my 11 lite with this one as I like shooting ultrawide alot and that a great upgrade not to mention selfies which is huge....I don't mind the front notch it's slim and elegant and it houses 2 cameras..there would have to be dual holes on top or a small notch like this...or under display😆
