    The Dimensity 1080 is only on par with the 18 months old Snapdragon 778G. This isn't good enough. Should be the Dimensity 8100. Xiaomi put it in the Poco X4 GT which costs €350 then they can put it in the Redmi Note 12 Pro too

Xiaomi themselves say the note series in China has two models a year, one focused on performance and one on cameras/screen. Anyway, doesn't really matter what they are called. 2 note series within 12 months. You could say this is the follow up to the 11pro if you take the argument that this is the less performance focused model. However the Redmi note 10pro had the dimensity 1100 and the Redmi note 11 pro had the much weaker dimensity 920 so if taking that argument then the Redmi note 11 pro would not be the successor to the Redmi note 10pro

              A lot of people are complaining about the chipset not being that powerful.
              You can read that on many websites for all kind of brand.
              I always wonder... Do you all need a Rolls-Royce of a chip? For what? Browse on the internet, watch a movie, spend your time looking at what's so interesting about people's life on social medias?
              It's not as if you had an old sd410 isn't it?
              And it's like how many times i've read people changing their 1year old FLAGSHIP phone for the newly released one. For what? Some of us have too much money and are disconnected from this world. Woww it's as if the chip or the cameras or whatever on these SAME FLAGSHIPS were already outdated/obsolete.
              Sometimes i eventually believe that we are lost in a world of triviality.
              The age of plenty is coming to an end. One day we will wake up and the important won't be whether you'll have the iphone 37 or 38 or the galaxy s51 or 52.
              Where are we going?
              Sorry for my english and for this wandering but those always complaining once in a while should work on their heart and soul searching.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 11T Pro+ does not have a successor yet, and they are from the T-series. It is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, which is the predecessor of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Pro+.

Personally, think that's fair enough though. At the end of the day, they have a price point identified and have to decide where to cut costs to meet the price point. On the Redmi note 11t pro and pro+ they cut the costs on the camera and screen but gave a powerful processor. On this model they are cutting the costs on the processor but giving better main camera sensors and probably more expensive screens. Users can choose which they value more and go for the respective model that meets their needs

                                    Xiaomi book air? Interesting, I hope it will come with the ryzen R7, due it good integrated video card (RDNA2) but it probably come with the intel cpu

                                      No snapdragon no Gcam, sad

                                        Redmi and Poco phones are just lower quality Xiaomi phones, with bugs and worse software update policy.
                                        If you want or like MiUi, just buy a Xiaomi model (preferably a top mid-range or flagship model). Don't waste time with Redmi or Poco phones. The only thing good on them is the price. But even this got big nowadays, with the same low quality and high number of bugs like before.
