Realme 10 officially confirmed to have Helio G99 at the helm

    G99 has an inferior gpu compared to G95. Also, G99 doesn't support 4k video capture and playback while G95 supports it. Why are these smartphone chips going backwards?

      Except flagships & upper midrangers other Lower midranges & entry level devices aren't getting much improvement for 3-4 years.

      I rember for ₹15k in india you could get Realme XT (AMOLED,SD712,Good enough main+UW cam)
      But now for same 15k we are getting Realme 10 (with G99 which in itself is inferior to much older G90T other than being on better node & shitty 2MP depth+Macro cams to flaunt multi-camera system)

      So no meaningful improvement for quite sometime now.

            Nice upgrade from SD 680.. Can't wait to see more specs.

              They should've just skipped the 4G version from now on and used a Dimensity 920 for 10 and Dimensity 8100 for the Pro
