Elderman, 30 Oct 2022Now with dex and the new Ready for no need for this chromeOsAs someone who uses DeX from a Samsung Galaxy Note8, EMUI Desktop from a Huawei Mate 20, and Screen+ from both LG V50 and also LG Wing, I definitely couldn't agree more. While they are far from a true laptop replacement since Android itself has so many limitations as a desktop OS, especially when it comes to keyboard and gamepad support, they are easily a true Chromebook replacement. Those phones provide way better performance than any budget and midrange Chromebook laptop, even with the LG Wing's Snapdragon 765G SoC. The Play Store app experience on ChromeOS is no different than a native Android tablet and while ChromeOS do has Linux desktop OS support, so does Andronix and I've been using their modded Debian XFCE desktop distro on my LG V50 through Screen+ on my external monitor without any problem at all.

              Can you install real chrome os in windows laptop and not chrome os flex? Please reply as I may replace windows in weak laptops. On the other hand my own laptop is more than ten years old but running windows 11 fine though it is unsupported hardware.
