Build quality is awesome, very heavy phone with a solid feel. Battery backup is awesome and thermal management of the phone is phenomenal.
Yes it was last of the flagship Mohicans to rock a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 with a metal frame while still retaining an audio jack with AKM AK4377A discrete DAC chip inside. The very reason why I bought the phone.
The smartphone manufacturers are always changing the strategy to garner more sales. iQOO no more have that razor sharp gaming focus which they used to have.

I'm supposing the amazing DAC and audio quality of the original IQOO3 will never make a return?
Its same with every new (online-only) brand.. When they launch a new product, they give it the best of audio & other minor excellence. Later, you never get the actual 2nd gen of the product from the same brand.
Wow, IQOO 11 does 4K@30 fps, amazing... I've never seen a top ender doing 4K30... (sarcasm)
Look at Oneplus for another example. What they were, and what they have become.

Honestly smartphones are getting pretty predictable at this point. And it's not helping that Oppo, iQoo, Realme, Vivo and OnePlus are under the same umbrella. At least the market isn't too stagnant.

Unless they get rid of that boring garbage Funtouch os and ship their devices with the exquisite origin os ocean iqoo is never catching the eyes of any significant number of customer. Regionally downgrading their products is just pathetic.

I have this idea that even though the charging speeds are a bit concerning, I think it’s actually a good thing that charging speeds go up.
Because, let’s say that I have a Xiaomi that can charge at a max speed of 120W, compared to a phone that maxes out at 67W. You can “reliably” charge the Xiaomi at 67W with no problem, while with the 67W phone, you can charge reliably up to ~30W.
Basically, my idea is that if people really are concerned about charging speeds ruining their phone, it’s actually a good thing that charging speeds get faster since they can reliably use another charging speed without affecting the battery. The higher the max charging speed, the higher the “reliable” charging speed. “Reliably” meaning it won’t affect the phone’s battery.
I know that it’s heat that kills batteries, but if people still have the concern, here’s my opinion on it.
