Its good but whats the point if none of the smartphone brands adopt mediatek chips into their phone. Most of them only use snapdragon soc for their flagship models. Mediatek soc is rarely seen elsewhere other than chinese phone and even so only in midrange or budget phones

apple make custom chip based arm and that's bionic.
qualcom make custom arm and thats snapdragon.

Anonymous, 01 Nov 2022The announcement date is just 1 week away i doubt this will... moreI mean, a lot of brands test this on antutu on android because they can be tested under basic "dos" interface without be running OS at all...so without cpu+gpu be punished for just running the full android OS interface and running antutu, they just run antutu on roots of the device
So dont be surprise if in customers hands this will have around 20-28% lower numbers
But we will see

Also, they have learn from Samsung's mistake plus their recent SoC improvement record is really good so i'm leaning more towards the possibility that it's better. Assuming the leak is real, the real question will be the sustained performance.
