The new 4gen1 is more powerful than the 480+ and Mediatek equivalents Helio G99 and Dimensity 800. The performance is fitting for vanilla Redmi Note 12, in my opinion.

    Why is a Redmi Note lineup device having Snapdragon 4 Gen 1?
    Even though the SD 4 series has seen many upgrades ever since its inception this does not justify that since the SD 6 series has always been a part of the Redmi Note lineup.

Repaired by POCO d... moreEven when you go to get battery change or warranty diagnostics for Iphone at Apple service center they ask you to back up your data first. The Apple service center won't guarantee your data will be safe, despite the high service charges they are asking. Backing up data yourself before sending to service center is common requirement among OEMs, it's even stated in the terms and conditions. Sorry, but it's your own fault on this one.

                this is the problem. people I know who winning a lot against Xiaomi truns out to have spent 250$ or 300$ or maximum 400$ for a Xiaomi. Then start to feel the inferiority complex by their friends who uses 1000$ iphone. they show better photos compared to the budget or midrange Xiaomi. poor get sad. he/she feels the need to be able to have the logo and brag. Then these people spend 1000$ or more and start winning about their best decision.
                I bet you didn't even use the two year old Mi10 ultra.

                  I buy Xiaomi phones for several years, usually on AliExpress. Half the price of Samsung & Co. Extremely reliable and huge memory (256 or 512GB). Only downside in Canada is the limited support for LTE frequencies (I don't give a shi... about 5G).

                    Everyone knows that majority of ex-Xiaomi users (including me) left xiaomi for better phone from Samsung or Apple. I have used xiaomi phone for 6 years before moving to Samsung, best decision ever.

                      These mid-range seems more expensive than its predecessors.

                        This will make the chip handle demanding apps and games for 2 or 3 years more.
                        This 1080 might be good this year but I'm sure it will fall behind later.

                          nothing surprising.
                          fact is Xiaomi is the unbeatable budget king.
                          I have used mid range phone from Samsung. Xiaomi just blows away Samsung.
                          people say bugs, bloat ware, lag, bad ui....
                          those are ignorant. Whenever I don't want iPhone 12 pro to face roughness or risk I put my xioami to face it. because though I don't like the 12pro way more than my Xiaomi but the dollars have already gone.
                          people say iPhone camera is great. yet in some conditions I prefer my midrange Xiaomi. and almost everybody says macro camera is waste. But in my life I have used the 5mp AF macro for photos and videos than any other lenses from iphone or Xiaomi.
                          I posted some of the macro videos and photos. My friends were surprised know that those are not from iphone but Xiaomi.
                          I don't think the few apps 0.5 mili seconds fastness should be very important factor to rank a mobile.

                                    Anonymous, 01 Nov 2022impossible with all the bloat it has.My F3 is lighting fast to respond. It has been optimised pretty well over the span of updates, and it was pretty snappy to begin with as well.

                                    I'm sure that the F4 won't be any worse. My friend got one on my recommendation. There is some bug with MS Outlook mobile he said, but other than that, he loves it.
