Minimum is 12 years old but they don't magically unlock new capabilities at 12 years old. So let him try if it doesn't work out he can wait a few months and try again.

someone, 06 Nov 2022do you think a person that is 11 years old can be able to u... moreThey are fairly close to the age requirement. I think in short burst it's fine. I also read that eating a small meals before playing helps to avoid motion sickness. I had a rotation going with 3 of my nephews on wearing the headset while playing Playroom VR on PSVR 1. They were 8 -10 years old and the games were under 10mins each round. Maybe set a timer for them 20mins on, 10min break ie..

As a 22 year old even I cant quite handle VR.

Let's say, there are games that makes you more sick than others.
If your kid play little by little that sickness can fade away.

Anonymous, 04 Nov 2022Oh, I didn't know that. It would probably help Meta if... moredo you think a person that is 11 years old can be able to use the psvr2 {without feeling sick or getting sick or unhealty} because the psvr2 is for 12 and older but do you think a 11 year old can handle

I'm not a "gamer" type gamer. I play games on occasion with my friends and that's it, and I'd imagine a large amount of the market is similar.

Whether I buy this comes down to the same reasoning on what console/PC to get. Are there good enough games to get my friends and I all down to get the same platform. If there is even a couple fun games to play with my friends, then that's the platform we're going with.

My uniformed opinion says that whoever makes or ports a hit game on their platform and makes it work well in VR will make big gains. DRG would be fun. Hell, as is we spend half our time plahing just goofing around in the space rig while we talk.

Chixby, 04 Nov 2022Graphics sucks! This is one way to make it run at high FPS using crappy hardware (compared to dedicated PCs).

When comes to headsets i mean virtual reality HTC is premium brand compared to a fake overpriced meta and Sony which just toying on the ground asking lot of money for something not worth even 33% of its price.

Too bad there's no wireless mode - being tethered sucks. I use my Quest 2 wirelessly connected to my PC and can run steam games in another room no problem. It's good for games like Blade and Sorcery where you're twisting around and fighting people.

If I had a PS5 I'd probably check this out though. The 110 degree FoV is better than most headsets
