Xiaomi 13 Pro renders show a curved display that will allegedly be slightly smaller than before

The Xiaomi 12 Pro had a fairly large 6.73" display (made more manageable by the curved sides), the 13 Pro display will be a fraction smaller.

I think Vivo does displays where the glass is 3D curved but not the LCD, so images still look flat. That's the kind of display that has the best of both worlds.

But even if that's too distracting for some, at the very least I want to have 2.5D bezels to make side swiping comfortable. Phones that don't have 2.5D (like the iPhone, Nothing Phone) are unappealing for that reason, and therefore a backwards step imo.

    Curved screens looks so wrong. They distort the image. Why would you want a distorted image?

    Curved bezels is fine, by all means, as long as the display showing content is perfectly flat and does not distort the content I am trying to enjoy.

    Nothing premium about a downgraded experience like curved displays in smartphones.

      Good news everyone, It only supports 3 US LTE Bands and will be blocked by AT&T and Verizon!

        Camera of Mpúix on a plus eur device is a problem.
        But curved screens are the worst possible and ever made innovation on a phone.
        They are slippery, dont work as they should with screen protector and are very expensive to repair.
        Even old Samsung S edge from cost for new screen plus eur work at service centre.
        Compared to this every other issue is less tiresome.

              Flat screens look so.. old. I was shocked when I got my work phone, an Iphone 12 Pro. It has bezels as wide as my little finger! Looks arcane compare to my private phone, a Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.

                Weird isn't it if they use flat screen they got accused of copying Apple iPhones if they use curve screen they got bashed about it just make up ur mind pple

                  wouldn't it make more sense to have the flat screens on the pro models and the curved screens on cheaper models? I want a pro model but do not want the distortion and ugly look of curved screens. Currently I have a curved screen but will never buy it again... jealously looking at the sleek flat iPhone displays

                              stop using curved displays! it is useless, cant use covers or screen protectors, and is ugly. follow iphone design!!

                                Even worse those that charging speed advertised are more than it actually is, like more than 30W difference.
