This is by far the worst phone I ever had. It is horribly slow, to the point where if you shoot 3-4 photos rapidly, it will freeze and not save photos. This thing gets frozen while browsing websites. Mine asks me for a restart to do the update. I agree, the thing restarts and tells me I need to restart for an update! I don't know when I have actually updated this device last.
Anyway, it seems that the back of the phone being made of recycled garbage is the biggest advantage this phone has. Stay away from this phone! 2/10

My family members have bought two of these - there seems to be a flaw where they just die and won't turn on again, tried everything. Can't get into reset menus - seems to be a charge/battery flaw. Basically data isolated on device no way to recover data because it won't power on. No reset pin no removable battery. Just dead. One failed and replaced (still working) and now second one failed the exact same way.

The Galaxy J3 and the Nokia C2 have the exact same processor with the C2 having less RAM, but much faster in user experience

The milky shade is because of the ambient light sensor. If it's a problem, just disable it.
Also the temporary image retention is the biggest problem of QLED (Quantum dot displays) and that's worth noting.

Minu, 20 Nov 2022Those problems are actually pretty manageable thoughAn OS upgrade resulted in losing phones battery recharge functionality unless restarted was not a manageable issue. The bug stayed unfixed for more than 1.5 months and I was forced to buy another phone. The HMD 7.2 also had various other issues like temporary image retention issue, light sensor issue like when one coming from bright sunlight outdoor to indoor resulting milky shade in everything displayed in the screen. HMD has nothing to do with Nokia other than a label.

Anonymous, 18 Nov 2022They are just a lazy corporation....but for me still the au... moreAuthentic? Get you facts right. HMD Global bought here in Finland 🇫🇮 only the Nokia brand name to use on their smartphones. And that license use was for only 10 years and it will end in 2026. Hope is that NOKIA our big successful company will buy HMD Global or just it's best staff and get back doing smartphones again. But that probably isn't going to happen since just a while ago the CEO of NOKIA claimed that he believes smartphones of this current type will come to an end already in 2030 and will be replaced with something very different and more futuristic.

I had many times but that was all real Nokia not these HMD junk with a "Nokia label".
Just google "nokia 7.2 problems" and you will understand what I mean by HMD junk.

People should stop calling HMD phones as "Nokia" phones. Both are entirely two different company. HMD only licensed to put Nokia label on to their junk devices with unreliable support.

Carol, 14 Nov 2022and why is this e-waste? Because is not some chinese wannab... moreIt's basically expected something like this from you! Your the biggest protector and fan of HMD/Nokia in this site. Now if your talking about wasted comments, then how is your any better commenting me with useless comment ? Since when Finland is producing any hardware that goes in the phone ? They just make a specs sheet and send it to the factories that make the phones that mostly are in China or in India. They have nothing on there own other then some design elements or patents they are allowed to use and thats it.
Also for your previous comment for your comparison. How dumb can you be to compare Apple or Samsung with Nokia. Nokia sold it's phone department to Microsoft and there for were not allowed to use Nokia brand on any phone for few years. Then Nokia come back with it's old workers that made a new company that got a name HMD. They dont have base Nokia company backing them up with money or anything basically as they are just a company that is allowed to use Nokia patents and brand name.
And what has anything to do with workers that change in every company all the time ? HMD is not special or anything as they dont make even flagship phones. They dont even have top end of a middle class phones while they sell there budget class in middle class prices
Samsung and Apple maybe have changed some of there workforce but who cares ? It's not like there quality level of new technology used in there devices have dropped. Nokia before HMD was good with there prices and model range even under windows phone and they made legend models. Since it's under HMD they only have nostalgia dumbphones and low end hardware smartphones with premium price.
If i want recycled materials used in my phone and i need to pay extra for it like with HMD then i expect good schedule of updates and good hardware. G60 cost 330 euro and for that money i expect at least SD860 or 870 in it or at least SD780. Also i would expect punch hole selfie with Amoled and under display finger reader.
