For exam... moreBecause there is 3840 which had to be again "trimmed" from original 4xxx and remember phones are portrait not landscape so you either pick height or width again always rule resolution by aspect ratio where u need to do compromises by height and width by slightly narrow down width or height
Orig 4k is 4096x2160
Trimmed for our wide-screen monitors is slightly shortened so 3840x2160 stillapplies to 4k but they named it uhd
So your sony falls into uhd which we still consider as 4k

All resolutions are created down to apsect ratios.. and then they just labeled it in many ways same like they labeled USB 3 or 3.1 or 3.2 in milion different labelings..

1080p is 2k... 1440p 3k and 2160p 4k....
For some reason their 16:9. sizes are also defined similarly.

That was the initial wa... moreu can't just go how you see thousand resolution ... they made title on specific resolutions and based on trimmed resolutions and mainly based on aspect ratios of monitors.. Becsue they started making wide and ultrawide monitors .. so titles were applied on THOSE amended resolutions for monitors...

I always go traditional :
1k = good old 1080p
2k= enhanced 1k to 1440p that's why some call it 1.5K which is weird too
3k= nobody uses
4k= 2160

These resolutions are based on widescreen 16:9 ratio that's why resolutions neded to be ''trimmed''. but title presisted.
1.Real full hd is 1920 x 1200 trimmed to 1080 to achieve widescreen for past gaming
2.Real 2k is 2560x1600 trimmed to 1440 for us gamers.. 2k has one more resolution based on 5:4 which is rare 2560x2048. There is another 2k made and that is ultrawide which is 3440:1440p 21:9 Basically 2k is best short title and best sweet spot for gaming
3.Real 4K is 4096x2160 trimmed to 3840 mostly used for working in desktop
4.And then pointless and most odd apples 5k 5120x2880 which nobody uses only apple enthusiasts...

Yeah 160 MP cameras and android removed control of photo resolution 😂.
Now if you take a photo of note just to remember it, it will use 100Mb of space lol

Why too high megapixel ? Does the engineer forget that applying high 160 megapixel on a camera sensor smaller than 1 “ means low light photo quality does not exist ?

The November 23rd launch is most likely the Magic Vs foldable rather than the magic 5 series. The honor 80 series should arrive before the magic 5 series
