FarFan, 09 Nov 2022Wow 600$ for Tactic one in plastic case! Does it really ... moreWell a stainless steel for an outdoor watch is no good idea.
In low temperature they are freezing your wrist, in high temperature they burn your wrist, they are much more likely to get scratched in no time, and stainless steel can't protect your watch as good as less dense material.
So yes for prestige it's better to have stainless steel or titanium, but for real tough outdoor usage, different types of synthetic materials are the way to go.

shame they all have thickness of brick on hand, same with those Casio smart watches with year long battery life, just give me solar smart watch with transflective/MIP displaywith Amazfit BIP or Casio F91 dimensions, I don't need big display or any features, just small smartwatch with at least month long battery life which can display notifications, no need for GPS, fitness nonsense or anything else

FarFan, 09 Nov 2022Wow 600$ for Tactic one in plastic case! Does it really ... moreGarmin Instict also has Altimeter, barometer and compass along with GPS while the said fossil watch only has Accelerometer and HRM so those 400$ extra are worth it for the target market.

Wow 600$ for Tactic one in plastic case!

Does it really worth 400$ for solar and extra battery for stainless steel case Fossil Hybrid gen 6?

Too expensive for a watch but if you're talking about ∞ battery life I would consider buying that
