they pissed off a lot of users for letting third party groups in spreading misinformation... so it is to be expected...

The problem was that they helped spread misinformation during elections and during the pandemic and ended up being called out to take accountability. They should have really done their homework before just shilling their ad space for literally anyone. It turned off a lot of people from their products when they took out a lot of the features and forced ads on insta/facebook which made people scroll less.

Reminds me of local banks that "had " to shut down many agencies and lay off ppl , at same time profits were hitting new levels.
