Imagine paying a thousand on a brand new phone and putting it in a tight jeans pocket only for it to come out all cracked and bent after a while

pity...even flip4 survived this bend test.this is just iphone6 level durability.don't ever sit on your ROG phone or don't put it in a heavy bag.it's so fragile.

I have accidentally sat, stepped or slept on my phone, so many times. My phone was built well, so it is still intact, but in case it was something like this ROG 6, would've broken within a week of buying. Therefore, it's important to watch Jerry's videos first before buying

His smartphone test aren't 100 per year so don't lie please.
Asus and other brands that has super high price should use stronger materials like titanium.
I prefer drop test over bend test because it could happen for your smartphone in unlucky situations.

Everythin... more He's just subjecting it to the most extreme case version of real life accidents like dropping, sitting on them, or sandwiching them between heavy books, devices etc.
Two top end expensive phones, one survive's JRE's bending test, the other doesn't.
Guess which will have the most buyers? ;)

I think we're now officially expecting wrong things from a phone. I'm in favour of 10-20 rugged phones in the market for specific consumers, but not each phone.
As united consumers of the world, we should be expecting higher audio quality standards, good camera (ok we are), 3.5mm jack, microSD slot, good loudspeakers, water cooling & maybe higher performance if it can come at a decent cost.
That day is bad when a consumer who anyways handles phone gently, is expecting a sturdy phone, which is useless for him/her, but is leaving out far more important features for it.

The poor build quality is because of phone design. The battery is on both sides, and the processor is in middle so applying force causes it to break easily
