Anonymous, 14 Nov 20226D is just a variant of the device powered by 8+g1. If D9... moreWell d9000 is better than sd8gen1 but inferior to sd+gen1. D9000+ is just an overclock version of d9000. D9000+ is superior to sd8+gen1 on the cpu side. It has a bigger cache size for the cpu compared to sd+gen1.

IpsDisplay, 14 Nov 2022Let's use your logic against you
Asus uses the Dime... more6D is just a variant of the device powered by 8+g1.
If D9000 was better, then asus would have ROG powered exclusively by it, while zenfone with qualcomm chip.
I am surprised you have not said the lie that qualcomm uses contract to force vivo to use it inside pro+ against vivo's will.
Your comments are too lame, even worse compared to Nick T's.

Anonymous, 14 Nov 2022What a coincidence the pro+ (main device) is exclusive SD8g... moreLet's use your logic against you
Asus uses the Dimensity 9000+ for their 6D ultimate version smartphone
This proves that OEMs consider it better than the 8 +gen 1

What a coincidence the pro+ (main device) is exclusive SD8g2.
This proves OEMs consider it better than D9200

Personally, I'd avoid this phone if possible. Vivo in general have excellent hardware but have really subpar software optimization. The UI/UX leaves much to be desired. I own a Vivo X80 (non pro) 12GB/256GB variant with the Mediatek 9k chipset. I got it from the VIVO official sales distributor in my country on the 14th of May this year. The good things first: the charging is incredibly quick with the supplied 80w charger. 0 - 100 in less than 40 mins. The rear camera is very good, not iPhone beating nor the best in Android phones, but for it's price point it is the best. Night shots are stunning. Portrait mode is great. And the phone looks and feels super premium, minimal bezels all around. However it is super slippery without a case. Now about the bad bits... Sound from the speakers aren't very loud, haptics are mediocre at best. Screen is ok, but the 120hz HRR feels sluggish. Battery life is average (but manageable if you have the charger since it tops up super quick) and the ultrawide and selfie cam is rubbish. The ugly? Software is really glitchy, no Gmail notifications, phone crashes every now and then and the general "smoothness" vanishes after a month of usage. Generally speaking, I don't think Vivo is worth the money. I may very well switch to the iPhone 15 pro next year if it comes with USB c or maybe see what OnePlus / Samsung have to offer. I am not trying to be a troll, I bought the phone expecting more and sadly am left very disappointed. Vivo are ok for mid tier phones, they just don't make sense when the prices approach the flagship killer range. Sigh... your thoughts and questions are welcome.

most people doesn't mind the removal of the sd cards on android devices, but that doesn't mean its fine to ridicule or mock people who still want the sd card to return, also some qualcomm/mediatek based handheld game devices still support sd card expansion. Android manufacturers probably saw how Apple priced their devices based on storage size and saw how profitable it is, not to mention cutting cost on parts and manufacturing for the sd card slot.
