Well i am glad no other company is using Exynos just samsung.
Even a mediatek is on a completly different level since their chip used for Redni note 8 pro.

      Their naming is messed up, but Vivo will be happy.

          Looks like a54 will still have old gen ufs2.1 and lpddr4x , Processor with only 2 performance cores, bye bye

              First number usually indicate generation, not power.
              This also apply in desktop CPU where Intel 10900K is vastly more powerful than Intel 12300 for example (9>3).

                To be fair...

                - Despite the rumours of the 1380, I expect it seeing using a Dual Quad design with A715 and A510R with a Quad or even Hexa Mali G615. It can't even discard the Mali G715 with 7 core design. Samsung wants to deliver something big due the 1280 fiasco. I even can't discard the AMD GPU on there.

                - I am thinking that the Exynos 1330 is the one which will get the specs of the rumours. This time getting the 2x A78 core and 6x A55 cores with Dual or even Tri Mali G615 GPU cores.

                Samsung might fully use their fabs, but want to use it right.

                    Gtx 980 is way more powerfull than gt 1030 or 1010. Rtx 2080 is more powerfull than rtx 3050 etc.

                    So make sense for 1380 to be successor of 1280 and 1330 to be lowend, 8 is bigger than 3.

                      Was planning to stick to A5x series because they're just basically downgraded vanilla S series. Now that Samsung seem like putting these chips to the A5x series, I might be forced jump to the S series which has poor price:what-you-get ratio.

                          Exynos 1380 might use faster 2x a78 or even a710 plus 6x a55
                          As for exynos 1330 it might use 8x a510, or faster 8x a55
                          Or 2x a75/a76 + x6 a55

                                  Why dont they just give up with their Exynoss for mid-end class?
                                  I mean SDM 778G is still in there and more popular and also faster even tho it's old but it might be cheaper.
