WhatsApp beta for Android now supports companion mode and link to tablet

You can use WhatsApp beta on a phone now. I've got a Samsung which allows a second install. Initially it will ask for a phone number, but if you go into developer mode, change screen width to 600 (make a note of the original), then go to whatsapp, you should get a QR code to scan. Once you're in, change the width back and you're good to go!

      Unlike Whatsapp, they vet every businesses and make sure it is valid and not shady.

      Look at twitter and the blue checkmark.. that's telegram in a nutshell.

              Telegram is so much farther ahead than whatsapp. I wish it would get greater adoption. Whatsapp was great before Facebook , its a shame that they were allowed to acquire it.

You can use two different device at the ... moreThe only problem with Telegram is that it does not have end-to-end encryption by default, while secret chats are bound to one device only (messages are only visible on devices where you started it).

                    Just use Telegram. You can use two different device at the same time with the same number (account). My aunt is using one phone number (account) on her Xiaomi phone together with her old Oppo phone. Both received same message at the same time 🤦🏻‍♂️
