B52, 15 Nov 2022All I can see on that orange is a better image processing..... moreIt's not even clear whether the Pixel shot is in focus or not, and none of the samples impress, but then it's quite unlikely for a ~2MB JPG of a 12MP photo to impress, they should be around 4MB at the minimum.

We don't even know at this point if this model comes with a proper bayer, but that's already unlikely, as such whatever "lossless" zoom achievable would be limited by the chroma resolution of the CFA.

I hope that in near future 3x optical zoom camera will be unnecessary with such main sensor. And in far, FAR future, with 600 mp sensors, maybe they'll ditch even the periscope zoom.

All I can see on that orange is a better image processing.... Nothing ground-shaking.
Of course, decent comparison can only be managed when the phone will be available.
However, S22U (exynos) photo quality is a pure disappointment for me.

Tho full res is a mystery, I hope hi res get raw output too.
Optics will be even more important with so many pixels, I wonder how will it end up...

Give us 16 megapixels! There is no reason to be stuck at 12 when using a 200 megapixel sensor. 12 or 15 or 200? This is just stupid.

That comparison seem so staged and fake, as Pixel example does not look like Pixel photo at all. Real world comparisons will tell the real story.

Oh snap, the S23 image sample is oversharpened and has color bleeding all over the place. Not sure this is really an advancement compared with the previous gen.

nothing special that can outmatch a regular phone with good gcam config. I'm not even speaking of MI 10 U / 11U high res mod.
