Not bad but I guess will wait for A55 as my A52 still works. Hope it comes with Snapdragon cpu. Headphone jack and micro sd card aren't critical for me.

The Galaxy S23 will be thinner(7.6mm vs 8.2mm) and
obviously have bigger camera sensors than the Galaxy A54, so what's the need for this big camera protrusion on the A54 when the S23's camera protrusion is smaller? for some reason you talked only about Sony and missed the point of my whole comment.
They are probably trying to copy Apple's camera lenses to attract customers.

It's not Exynos that bad, it's more like that Samsung mobile division has far higher expectation from Exynos chip made by Samsung semiconductor division and the Exynos doesn't meet the high standard of S and Z Series.
If only Samsung S series has the same standar as Pixel, i believe

So again, newer phones that are inferior to the predecessor. The A53 was worse than the A52S and now the A54 is going to be worse than the A53 as it's removed a camera.
This is why sales are falling, not Covid or the "war" in Ukraine
