You can finally disable your wallpaper and notifications on the AOD screen.

    Apple trying to be smarter but it's not pleasing these days.
    Apple was known for innovation.
    But now, this iPad will get that features but not others
    These iPhones will get these features but not older ines.

    Earlier, features and experience was similar accross all the range

      B-B-B-B-But Apple alway does it better right??
      Guess not even display island needs better 3rd party suppport.

      Well with this update they kind of caught up to Android. Now they can bring AOD to all their devices instead of only Iphone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Iphone 13 Pro Max should definetly get it especially with that battery life.

      Yes it can drain battery but it should be there as a choice to all Apple Iphone users, if they want AOD and dont mind sacrificing battery then its upto them. Shouldnt be down to Apple to lock off features which can easily be done with a software update

        I will say, Apple sure is improving. And this is a great step towards doing the AOD well.

        Google, feel free to follow suit and expand your AOD options, which currently is just an On/Off toggle at the moment.

It's boring and simply has barely any features, changing fonts, color of the font and adding few images isn't something extremely special.

                So that's all that iPhone AOD can have 😂 On Android one can customise the AOD like 20 times more, whatever way they like
