Samsung Galaxy Note III rumored to sport a 5.9-inch display

The next generation Galaxy Note phablet will come out with a 5.9" display, according to Korean Times.

    5.9"! Im happy to know that. Why not make it even bigger, eg 6.3 inch. But let Samsung maintain the aspect ration of 16:10 as in N7000. Alternatively, aspect ratio of 16:9.6 appears to be the best for a device of this size.

I believe they did it because they wanna keep on playing with their phones even while having lunch. Let alone the Note. The Note series aren't just phones my friend, they're All in one gadgets. The greatest portable multimedia devices especially for watching vids or viewing pics as well as digital sketch book with their advanced stylus, also an amazing gaming center, and of course the split screen multitasking and multi window ability that up untill now, no other brand has and only real computers can match. See the big picture?

        AnonD-7433, 08 Mar 2013I believe they didn't just put the phones on the table beca... moreI do not need to "think" because i have experience it before. When i put note 2 in my pocket, i couldn't cross my legs or take out my phone.. thus we put it on the table.. just to save the trouble.

        And i think to myself, is it really worth 1.2 inches more of screen estate for these troubles? Is that increase really make any difference in watching video.? Sadly the answer is no for me.

        As for the multi-screen feature.. its good if they allow all apps to run.. but they limit it to only a few.. and games is not allowed.. and its very confusing controlling the activity for each app. In most cases, you would be doing 1 stuff at a time..

        Sure it has lots of features, i am excited and try to explore all.. but in the end of the day it just isn't worth it for me. But do not take my word for it .. im just giving my opinion.

                i have 3.5" ( iphone 4), 3.7,3.8,4.0, 4.3, 4.5, 4.7" . and the note2 is fit perfect in pocket.
                by using multimedia blue tooth headset and voice talk, it real comfortable to make phone call, and text without touch the phone. UNLESS YOU DON'T HAVE MONEY TO BUY THE MUSIC STREAMING BLUETOOTH ( OR YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THAT IS, iphone fan usually don't know )

At that size, i believe the average people like me will find it difficult to put it in their pockets and sit down... Personally I want a 4.5" phone... Not more than that... And if its a phablet not more than 5.5 inch...

                              and prone to massive misclicks from your thumb. Not a good idea.

                              Given the increase from 5.5 to 5.9 and retaining the minium bezel requirement + aspect ratio 16:9 .. the phone will get broader and taller .. no choice. Unless software keys.

Well, don't take it from me, try fitting a Note II in your pocket and tell me it doesn't fit. The Note III would still have portable size, since the bezel could be much reduced. As how the Note II are actually slimmer with 0.5" of added screen size than the original Note's.

                                  I hope that either these comments are false, or they nix the whole bezel altogether. I'm really quite looking forward to the Note II, as it will probably be my next phone if it isn't too ridiculous. 5.5" is pretty close to the limit with that amount of bezel. The SIV should give some indication though.

                                        I dont understand people buysmartphones with outstanding hardware in a small screen stupid ithink. Samsung product like 7,7.7,8.9 10 inch does any of you see people calling by ththeir ears. Ha?no right.all of them are using a headset or speaker while enjoying browsing. I dont see why i need an outstanding phone with small screen. Even to type is a problem.how can you do your office when you want something in handy well when the screen is small. I personally think 6 inch is the best for phablet. And10 inch for a tablet.
