0odle-noodle, 28 Nov 2022everyone here whining about an OLED when in reality, theres... moreThe reason people want an OLED, or AMOLED? because for the price tab, s8 costs it still comes with tft. I have used the tabs7 for 2 years and would prefer a AMOLED or oled display. The blue light filter looks horrible on a TFT display, like a yellow filter that dulls the look of everything, whereas on OLED it is much more integrated. When watching youtube, movies or tv shows it really does annoy you, when you know how much it could have been better had it been oled. Its not all bad, just the oled screen being on a tab s7fe or s7 or s8 or s8fe would be awesome. display is still very good no other complaints just inky blacks are wished for.

everyone here whining about an OLED when in reality, theres no real use for it on a tablet. OLED displays for tablets remain stupid expensive for years after they are released. for the previous tab S7FE, the display looked like an OLED and produced colors like an OLED. The only thing that it doesn't do as well as an OLED is the production of the blacks.
Although I'm not saying the FE devices are good (they're not, they're stupid expensive for what they have to offer), I do believe if the tab S8FE was 10 inches, an LCD panel, at least 6 gigs of ram, a faster processor (likely previous gen flagship instead of recent gen mid range), and the price started at no more than $500 that it would be a good deal

I don't want a very big screen, and I don't want to spend that much money on a tablet as well. As long as there isn't a midrange tablet with an OLED screen, I am gonna stay with my S5e. It is gonna save money

Urs, 21 Nov 20224 gb ram in 2023 on 650€ tablet is not acceptable! I don't care much about LCD screens, but this is true! With apps nowadays consuming a lot of memory, 6GB RAM should be the bare minimum.

Useless, tab should be powerful given the fact that its cactering to those who seeks alternative to pc/laptips. No wonder why no one wants to develop apps for android tablet now a days. Cheap and weak processors are killing the future of android tablet apps.
