Reminds me that that impressive hardware largely goes to waste because a Vivo will probably not play nice with Gcam. The stacked DNG should rival ILCs in many more situations than before, yet...

No mention of WiFi 7, and I don't think any chinese phone will have it.
I want something that can give me ALL what Snapdragon 8 Gen2 can offer. For this I might not have great choices other than either Samsung Galaxy or Asus ROG because they always have everything.

nice hardware but,vivo has weaknesses apart from the hardware. until vivo establishes wider, reliable aftersales channels and prove timely and stable software updates,they have to sell those flagships cheaper than samsung and apple flagships.simple.that's why they need to release less flagships and put more effort on the optimization side.sony tried 2 flagships each year and this didn't end up well for them.

as for this phone, it has improve from the already impresive x80 pro...

Exact same price as the Xiaomi 12s ultra but with superior hardware in basically every area. Finally usb type 3.2 as well. Nice. The regular pro model is very good too. Still comes with the imx989 and pricing is very competitive for the pro model.
