Have been using the Redmi K50i with D8100 and it simply blew my mind with it performance while sipping power rather than drinking the battery. Its thermal management is very well done, the phone barely heats. 5G performance is great, the modem that ships with D8100 is of flagship grade. At INR 23K ($284, €290) for the 8/256 GB memory variant of K50i, there is no better smartphone available in our country with this level of performance.

Something is off.
Why? the CPU scores of the Dimensity 8100 has way lower single core compared to the 8200. Maybe they added some extra cache on the CPU and swapped the GPU too.

As long as it's priced right like sd870 or sd 7 gen 1. But if it get priced as discounted 8gen 1 phones than it won't be worth it.

Rip upgrade, these days we don't have real upgrade like before.
All we have some sort of upgrades and some part downgardes.
These is how manufacturers works so selfish to deliver great product to us...

Can somebody tell me why Tensor G2 has crappy performance? It has 2X X1 +2XA78 and usual 4XA55 why the scores are only 1050/3200? Why is it underperforming for the setup?
