i am presently holding the Samsung phone that really began this "no camera island" trend, the A32 5G. i can tell anyone that doesn't own my phone or the S22 Ultra that these seperate camera bumps are a whole new kind of grease trap, and that you can never truly wipe down your phone to perfection without copious repeated use of cotton swabs and isopropyl alcohol...and the grease will return minutes after holding the phone again.
if Samsung wants to continue with this design language, i hope they tweak it to enable easier cleaning.

2. 6.5" display with infinity u = if the previous rumored (next galaxy phone with lcd/ ips display have infinity u) are true, does this mean it will also use ips/ screen instead of amoled?
3. With the addition of the back cover covering up to front of the screen (for the phones esthetic) does the bezel actually gets bigger this time?
From all these three, are we going to get a downgrade from the previous model? Hope it's not true and just stay as leaks but this just made me go for this year model instead of waiting for next year...

A series was meant to be Alpha, experimental, where they could try new things before launching it on flagships. But since the Ax1 gen, it's no longer the case. Last impressive model was the A80, and that never came back. We were left with leftovers like the A7x (a terrible value device), the A5x (middle of the pack), the A3x (A5x but cheaper), along with the A1x/A2x (literally almost the same device).
We lost the A4x (compact A model), the A6x (this one was a rebranded model with a weird position where it was better in some ways than the A7x) and the A8x (almost flagship)

And we complain here about Android, bc it's not one device, but several of them that get copy-pasted design and then "artificially" separated into different price ranges.
How comes Asus can actually do a huge redesign between Zenfone 8 & Zenfone 9 (they look nothing alike) but someone like Samsung that is like 20 times bigger cant do that for their lineup?
Even their tablets manage to look different, but it seems they lack creativity for their phones.
