Apple is responsible for this situation.
They didn't make their own products, but they always subcontracted them to foreign factories with low labor costs, so they couldn't make their own products.
Apple needs to build its own factory and hire staff to take social responsibility

This makes me applaud Fairphone for taking worker or employee rights very seriously. You can tell why their phones are not cheap they want to give fair wage to their employees.

most of those who have apple products inflate and belittle the Android platform and Chinese brands... but your iphone is made in china and with a samsung screen
Remember, your $2000 Apple product is made in China, and with the same slave labor as Chinese brands.

In a developing country's medium-sized city, $1400 means about 3 months pay.
Anyhow, with a sales figure bigger than GDP of some high growth countries, Apple ought to spend the cash more. Literally every year I'm hearing how they're torturing their employees. Sometimes they tell them to accurate to the 50th fraction of 1 milimeter, other times its some working conditions or payment issues.
Owners are also people, employees are also people. Why favour one over another? I know they invested, so what? They didn't make the product.

Foxconn, which is Taiwanese in case anyone thinking it's a Chinese company, used underhanded tactics to make existing employees quit on pretext of Covid restrictions.
Then they recruit new employees at lower starting salary, which maximises profit for Foxconn because they need to pay less.
The lower starting salary already caused dissatisfaction and then the late payment issue (Foxconn called it input blunder lmao) was the straw that broke the camel's back leading to this chaos. Foxconn deserve whatever loss coming to them.
