When you buy WP you must know that there are:
-No updates.
-No Games.
-No Apps.
-No Smoothness.
-No customization.
-No decent battery life .
-No great specifications.

Dono why you are waiting for updates in Nokia,
updates available in Nokia care from past 3 months.
and ppls are happy with 7.8 who all updated.
for dooby, Wp8 is much better os than android. until u know the operating system. ppls never understand & illeterate never understand this os.

I have a 610 non-NFC and it's very annoying, when updated to 7.8 a few months ago things didn't get any better.

I have already advice in gsmarena, NEVER buy a WP phone or lumia from nokia. WP8 is horrible, no games, no applications, beta OS with missing many things. Nowadays buy new samsung galaxy s4, android will be number1 for next 5 years. Maybe in next years UBUNTU upgrades and is workable, but now the king is ANDROID
