Hello, I see there are a lot of haters of chinese brands here, also some that would buy this phone. I just wanted to give an impartial opinion about n02-m, phone which i currently own. N02-m is the current flagship of the chinese phone maker Neo.
I bought this phone from an online chinese retailer for the price of 165 usd, the shipping was free. It came with charger, wired headset, screen guard already on the phone and another one for spare. Also the retailer packed a few extras: led keychain, cloth pouch, mini stylus, microsd usb card reader.
Weak point of the phone: 8mp back snapper is kinda crappy anyway i don't use it that much so is ok for me; headphones are also crappy, the sound quality is poor - it's ok for calling but not ok for listening music. Battery only 1800 mah - it keeps the phone running for a full day barelly - i use it heavily (3g always on, gaming, internet, social networks, torrents. The phone came without google apps being made for the chinese market, so had to root it and flash play store in it.
Strong points: good build quality - the phone feels solid, all the parts are well put together. Performance is very good for this price (dual core cpu and 1gb ram really helps) - i have g+, facebook, yahoo messenger with audio/video plugin running all the time and i can still play games, download torrents and browse internet or youtube. Also the phone has dual-sim function, a very useful thing for me.
Opinion -Overall I am very happy with my purchase, I could not make a better choice for that money.
Hope you guys find this useful, cheers.

If XDA can get ubuntu for mobiles running on this, I'd actually consider buying it.
It looks like a nice device and the price point is a deal.

In fact, Samsung phones have poor build quality.
The new Nokia Lumia product lines are having solid build, using special kind of plastic..

[deleted post]Despite Sony Xperia Z/ZL has a solid construction and impressive outlook but they were extremely overpriced.
In addition, the 13MP camera in Xperia Z/ZL is not very impressive becuase the sharpness and detail is worse than 8MP camera like in iPhone5 or S3.
Finally the built in mobil Bravia Engine in Xperia Z/ZL is not fully optimized. It does not improve the video or photo from internet browser during viewing .

China unbranded smartphone/tablet makers can make a very cheap stuffs because they use the lowest quality components they could find.
Most probably their products have never complied to any safety standard like EMC/EMI.
I also believe their products have gone through a very minimum test during manufacturing.
Finally you dont expect any software update.

nokia is well known for its quality! it dont even need to be certified to be dust or shock proof!! it can handle torture test! while samsung's most famous s3 is the cheapest phone ever!! better buy this phone that samsung's greatest! coz they both have same quality! mind you, most chinese and indian phones right know are comparable to samsung's quality but never par to nokia's!
coz again, samsung quality sucks big time!!!

[deleted post]Lets put the Samsung S3 and Nokia Lumia 920 on a durability test and see who fails in hardware. And then let's put them side by side again on Software tests to see who lags and who force closes applications by opening more than 10 running at the same time.

AnonD-27765, 09 Mar 2013You can throw a Lumia phone from a helicopter and the phone... moreGood point! But uh.. Do you do that to your own phone? Throw it off a helicopter? I know, drop tests are done to test and prove durability of devices but to assume real life scenario like that are going to be pulled off by device owners doesn't make sense.
