Not sure if this was planned. Sounds pretty good.

Another "life saving" article praising apple. I have noticed this many times on other websites and blogs too. This is a marketing strategy. Too often it involves apple devices. As if they're trying to engrave their brand on your subconscious mind. 🙄

Is this a marketing scheme made by Apple?

Doesn't sound believable. But I'll take it. A phone which knows everything that you do and your location at all times is a good thing.

Next Year Apple Event videos will be more about this instances just like Apple Watch saved lives every year...... This is one way to get featured in Apple Promo Videos....

Good thing he was as around America.! Imagine if it was in Greenland. Then would die because Apple only supports the "satellite" feature over America. If they would treat others well and work with others, they could have global coverage through musk.

I've heard Android 14 will enable satellite communications as well.

Will it be as useful as Apple's solution since a global "Android Emergency Response Center" is unlikely to be sustainable?
