Korgoth, 03 Dec 2022Source please Gsmarena battery test? Most sd 695, dimensity 900, 920 etc have insane battery life, choose any random sd 695 phone with 5k battery it will have close to 20H in video playback and 14+ in browsing.
Lets check real examples
-Galaxy M51 has 7000mah and Cortex A76 cores (sd 730G) it score just 16:52 in browsing and 25:14 in video playback.
-Compare it to battery life masterpiece like xperia 10 iv which score 21H in browsing and 32H of video playback.
-Reame 9 pro has 19:52 in browsing and 21:20 in video playback

Click header in video playback to sort battery life result by video playback, you can see only Ulefone with 13,000 mah managed to surpass 30H in gsmarena video playback without using cortex A78 soc, plenty of 10,000mah phones like Dogee s88 and Gionee marathon M5 fail to reach that figure.

I still think, at least in first world countries, that many people get the larger phones just for the larger batteries. That‘s also why high end phones are available in smaller sizes like 6.1 inch (still a little bit too big for my taste). Maybe in 2 or 3 years, we will get smaller phones again, when chip fabrication and modem power efficiency improved even more and 4000mAh will be good for many people, like it‘s with 5000mAh currently.

5000mAh is like the most average battery capacity in a phone in 2022. I guess 90% of phones released this year have exactly that capacity. It‘s like there is one big manufacturer who makes these 5000mAh cells for cheap so everybody designs their phones around them. Just like 80% of the lower end phones use a 6.5 inch HD+ display with a notch cutout. No variety, just different software. And what annoys me the most about the last mentioned fact is that all phones are big. It’s ok when a brand releases 10 big phones but then they could at least release one smaller phone every now and then, something sized like an iPhone mini/SE.

Half the websites and leaksters "reporting" about this phone write about HD+ screen, the other half about Full HD+. Same goes for the chipset. Others say it's an Exynos 1330, other talk about the Dimensity 700 (same with previous model).
