I know some people don't even know it exists, but Samsung actually launched it in 2021 after the exynos mess

Option to downpay the gadgets up to 36 months. Still no locked units. So that theory isn't true. It's slavery. The units can be emei closed if you try to run away from the bills, and you will get blacklisted if you do so. We stopped locking units in 2011, because it simply doesn't make any sense.

I thought Asia was ahead o... moreThey carrier-locked their phones/ tablets in the US, a place where network and carriers work completely different from Asia. Datas and basically just simple texting and calling really cost a fortune, and by carrier-locking they can both bring the price of the devices down, promoting their devices on the carrier, the customers get great deals with those services, and the carrier will also get more customers.
