    A lot of people, including the author, are missing the point of the phone. It's not ruggedness, but 5 years of security updates in a reasonably priced, flexible (as in, headphone jack + SD card) phone. There is no other on the market like it. See for yourself on the phone finder.

Also why lock updates through carriers. No everyone will be on samsungs boyfriend servers. It makes no sense. Just make it a download like, i do with downloading apps. Its simple.

          I don't know about the other two S21 phones but I think they also received it.
          I guess the update is more depending on the country and network you are.

Thats how Xiaomi, Oppo, etc. makes more profit selling budget devices since majority of population are middle to lower class wages dont want to waste money on expensive flagships specially during high inflation times.
