But for Xiaomi, it's marketing. They made this phone at that prices just to show that the Xiaomi brand can be premium as well. But of course consumers are wiser, and nobody would want to spend that much money on a Xiaomi.

I would never pay for a Xiaomi phone above 500€, i just think they're great to 500€ price point. All above that is waisted money, i would choose either Samsung or Apple at that price point.
