Tecno unveils Phantom X2 with Dimensity 9000, X2 Pro with retractable portrait lens

Both phones are nearly identical besides the rear cameras - both use the same chipset, same 6.8" 120Hz display and 5,160mAh battery with 45W fast charging.

        Their price should be under 360$. Tecno's UI quality, no Android updates / OS upgrades policy, adwares, etc making these phones overpriced.

            Tecno = No clear information on Android (OS) Update Policy. Which means compromised phone security. Both phones are not having Android 13 in this price which is a drawback. Also Tecno's UI is full of annoying adwares and bugs. Who will buy this in such a huge price?

                Oh wow..! They must be proper flagship phones since they don't have micro sd support or a headphone jack.

                I genuinely believe this was Tecno's thought process. "Well we can't give it a headphone jack or micro SD slot, because other flagship phones don't have them" meanwhile the X2 has got the kind of camera setup that would've been on a €200 phone only 2 years ago

                      [deleted post]Both have UFS3.1.
                      The latest is UFS4.0, which the 2021/2022 SoCs do not support.
                      Only 8g2 and D9200 can.

                        Am I the only one that got scared when I saw that monstrosity?

                          Why not UFS 3.1 memory which is already available and is the latest? once again a curved panel and full hd plus... what a bad year for phones, I hope that 2023 brings true innovations and better designs and that they finally leave curved panels and full hd plus behind, at least in the high-end range

They just want to show off their real potential (the retractable lens, for example) so as to get the potential customers hyped up for their next gen products. Maybe a real flagship is on the way to come before 2023 ends, who knows?

                                        good to see this high end phone with microSD and 3.5 jack. If GSMArena doesn't review this, it's a shame. Tecno and Infinix have many good phone and deserve a review than crap low end Samsung.
